Thanks! I really like them too. They're 2008-2014 STI BBS wheels. 18x8.5 @ 20 lbs each. 5x114.3 bolt pattern, so I'm on 15mm Project Kics spacer adapters. I had to shave down the studs to fit them behind the backspacing of the wheels.

I had spacer adapters on my 2011 WRX with 2011 STI Enkei wheels, but I didn't shave the studs for that since that spacer adapter was 25mm.

You technically don't need to shave the studs for the '11+ STI Enkeis because they have deep pockets on the mounting pad. You can actually use 15mm spacers on those without issue. The BBS's, though, require at least 25mm (30 to be safe) if you don't want to shave/cut your OEM studs.

Good to know! Thanks for sharing in case anyone else researches this. Since the 2011 WRX had such a wide body, using a 25mm spacer made the Enkei wheels flush.

Now you kinda wanna make me want to find some 2011 STI Enkei wheels... haha Except they're fairly heavy and these BBS are at least comparable to the stock BRZ wheel weights.

Nope. There's a local shop called CCA Motorsports that primarily does vinyl and tint, but has been wanting to expand into accessorizing, installation of some sound equipment and paint customization. They love me there since I'm always bringing them new customers and advertise the heck out of their company since they're such flexible, hard-working, quality workers, so the shop owner worked hard on this piece for me. He's an award-winning detailer that competes in Las Vegas and other places.

Found this lower grill for sale, might go with the black version and attempt to carbon wrap the mustache. Although something tells me the 25 minute install time will turn into 2 hours. Im not seeing any aftermarket front bumpers I really care for

How did your order it in the US, and do you need to remove the bumper to install?

I feel bad for my BRZ brethren... Who in the world would look at the mustache during the design phase and say "Man, that looks snazzy!"?

Seriously though, is there some sort of like... Subaru heritage car thing that the mustache is supposed to be a throwback to? Seems so out of place.

Has anyone seen someone transplant an frs front bumper onto a brz? Think this is probably the way to go for those who don't dig the stache. Everything I've read says it should be possible.

Your FR-S has a mustache, too. The purpose of this solid plastic piece is to hide the fugly painted (sometimes unpainted) metal bumper beam behind the front bumper fascia. If you remove the front grill from your FR-S, you'll see it, too.

For further clarification, every single car sold today has a bumper beam that is hidden by the front fascia in one way or another. It's not a Subaru exclusive item.

Funny.

The difference is simple. Ours actually looks like the grill and is not seen unless you are up close or looking for it. Yours sticks way the flip out and doesn't transition into anything.

I'm not going to lie, if I hadn't taken the entire front end of the FRS off when I did my radiator swap, I would probably have never noticed the crash beam. You literally can't see it unless you're crouched down looking for it.
