Yup, I'm doing the 16 fasting, 8 eating. I've been doing it since March and so far good. I've already hit the goal weight, but I want to test yr long IF to see the data.

I have that same phone case.

Kershaw Leek for my daily carry these last two or three years. Been through four different polymer-framed pocket 380s in the past. I dislike the weight. I think I may be done, although I'll maintain my permit obviously. Sort of intrigued by NAA's little Ranger II.

How is the clip on the Leek? I have another Kershaw (can't remember the name atm) but the clip is short and doesn't unclip very well plus has flipped out of my pocket a few times because of it. Was looking at the Leek for a minute as a replacement.

Oh it's fantastic. Easily slips in and out of my 5th jeans pocket. I've been carrying it every single day for two or three years. It gets used daily at work. I occasionally put a few drops of oil in the pivot and blow it out with air. Still opens and closes easily. I love that these knives are user-serviceable. I've disassembled an old Kershaw Chive in the past, beadblasted, oiled and reassembled. Works like new. Every three or four months I hone the edge on a length of 1" ceramic pipe. Still sharp enough to catch on my thumbnail. At first glance they seem rather expensive, but I would buy it again in a heartbeat. MidwayUSA usually has the Leek for around $40.

Yeah clip is short & I prefer deep pocket clip, but haven’t had any issue for few yrs. The Leek I have is spring assisted, but not once it flipped out in my pocket. Only complain I have is, just fraction heavy. Wish lil bit lighter.

Hmm, may have to go into a store and look in person (or buy it on Amazon with Prime for returns lol). Or may have to try a different brand since Kershaw seems to favor a short clip.

When I say flipped out I didn't mean the blade, but the whole knife comes out of my pocket while still clipped. Usually when I pull something else out of the same pocket and it is just kind of annoying.

Aftermarket deep pocket carry clip is your answer!

https://www.amazon.com/Titanium-Pock.../dp/B01A0BGJDU

You can probably find one cheaper on ebay

Ah~ gotcha. Yeah, by any means, it's not small. So maybe it'll get caught on your hand while grabbing something out of the pocket. If you want something small & CA legal, you can look into like Kershaw Launch 4. Or if you wanna go very small/thin how bout CRKT Ed Halligan knife. THEY'RE THIN! They're 0.22" vs Leek is 0.38".
