buying parts online

whats up people, ive been looking for a couple of parts for the car lately and i love the 86speedfactory website but it wont give me a quote on shipping plus ive had bad experiences in the past with crossborder shippings ups fedex etc.... i know that jrp sells stuff but their website is freakin crap and pretty much the same for imageinmotion

i am looking for cusco parts, any hints?

Honestly, I would try with Perry in laval... 90% of the time, they come to the exact same price or lower than in the states... For the rest, well I ship to the border and go pick it up.

I've used nvauto but to be fair these days I almost never order direct from a website. I don't trust when it says "In stock" so I usually contact the vendor looking for confirmation before I do anything else. I did the same with nv though it was only a license plate relocate I needed it within a time frame so it had to be in stock.

I've also tried to deal with JRP, but they didn't read what I wrote in my emails, they read what they wanted to see....

Just call Jeremy at ft86speedfactory. I ship to the border, pick it up with my *coughcough* invoice in hand. Free shipping and the "other savings" well worth the drive.

NV is pretty good, they're a Hamilton shop and great guys. They built my engine and tuned my RHD Subaru, and I'll be going to them for all my FRS upgrades. Give them a call to find out what stock they have, but a lot of stuff they get on a next day arrival to their store so it's still very fast.

the problem is most US vendors ship ups ground standard. thats when you get screwed by the ups surcharge.

see the link for ups ownage rates.

http://www.ups.com/content/ca/en/shi...?WT.svl=SubNav

If i'm buying from the usa I make sure the vendor ships usps (canada post) or fedex.

have you told them? And if you're talking about the FR-S pulley, they're selling it for MUCH cheaper.
