Nice work n00b. In case you haven't learned yet, EcuTek is only tuneable by tuners. They don't trust the end user to tune their own car which really pisses me off.

What mechanical problem? We were talking about a tune problem.

I'm guessing your on visconti tune? Ignition advance map is zeroed out is why i assume that.

Your fuel trims are not great either (combined long and short at idle -20%, +10% long term wot, floating between -20 and +20 at cruise) but not as bad as whitefrs's.

No, not a Visconti tune. It was tuned by Bill at HG Motorsports, who is the same individual that provides the map that comes with the Innovate kit.

Sometimes, you can have a car that runs and drives fine, feels smooth, makes good power. But if you stare at the datalogs or wideband long enough, you will convince yourself its fucked.

Anyone logged fuel trims on a bone stock FRS, where Subaru had a multi million $ tuning budget?

yes i have and i have corrected them too. Not a huge deal when trims are not applied under open loop... can be a very big deal when they are. What happens when you are tuned to 11.8 and then have a -15% trim stack up just before you go wot?

I there are a few tuners that like to zero out the advance map... my only question is does the ecu still pull timing with the advance map is zero? I know it defeats the entire IAM system but not sure if rough correction will still pull timing on knock events.

(this is not a jab at anyone, i see the reason people want to dictate timing maps especially fi, but i'm not entirely sure zeroing out the advance map does not defeat the entire knock correction system, i need to do more research and find out)

Anyway, I'm gonna dip out on this whole thread now. I do my own tuning anyway so i can be as particular as i like with my car.
