I read that wrong and was totally baffled for a bit. It was fun to picture for a second though.

Yeah, no.
It's become a noble quest. Like the vapid roadside attractions pics. Been scouring all the retail stores between here and Quilcene for the past year. Even the Sumner Freddy's and stores in Vancouver. Sure, I could mail order, but then they'd arrive lovingly smashed to bits. They've been my go-to for decades. Alton Brown even recommends them in his pasta show. Never been anything but the significant absence of radiatori on the shelves. It's an evil plot.

Lil funny fact I’ve found out recently. My father’s side of fams have been teaching martial arts both in public, private security & military (JSDF & few other countries) for several generations. When I was young, my aunt used to use this knife for everything. Cut food to prep for dinner, all the way to self defense (some poor idiot try to rob her house). I’ve always thought that knife was cool and wanted that knife, but she never told me where she got it from nor she gave it to me. My buddy have a friend who’s blacksmith and can make all different types of knife & sword, so thought to remake that aunt’s knife. When I was rough drawing, I kinda forgot the blade design/shape it was (spear shape? Rapier space?), so I contacted my cousin to see if she can send the pic of that knife. She told me “Why you want the pic of that broken Rochin?” Some of you might not heard of Rochin, so lil info on Rochin. Rochin is a weapon use for Okinawan weapon art called Tinbe-Rochin (Shield & Short spear). Rochin is a broken spear which made into short spear... she made it more shorter and made it into knife lmao When I finished chatting w my cousin, I couldn’t stop laughing, cuz all my life I thought that knife was cool & I still think it is... but my aunt was using broken Rochin to made a dinner, makes me laugh.

So our parts/warehouse manager got fired early this month. He told everyone he quit
It's just now getting around that he was fired among those that didn't know and the "ah ha" moment on peoples faces is priceless. |

Lots of reasons. Primarily he did not take the job seriously. Would show up late, sometimes not at all and claim he was sick even though we could go on his social media and see he was out partying the night before. He staff was not held accountable and made simple and repeated mistakes daily. That department was the face of the company for our customers as they took in parts orders and shipped them. They would not follow up with customers with issues and were upsetting people on a regular basis. His staff had years of experience and was twice as large as normal, yet didn't know how to do basic daily tasks. It was a shit show.
