Or better yet someone with a Tatrix cable who could pull their ROM and share it?
I just got the update last weekend, but I don't have a cable. I'm in Auburn Hills.

Thanks, a bit far but if I don't find anyone closer or the dealership gets their crap together I'll hit you up.

I like how it looks, the power, and how many heads it turns. It handles like crap and the fuel economy is obviously horrible, but as an over all dd and fun to drive car, I'd keep my frs.

Anyone got the crickets here?

Have you had it fixed at the dealer? How many times? How long did it take?
How long did the "fix" last?

It is so embarrassing driving up next to someone in a light when your car starts making this noise.

I first had the crickets in july 2012 so I had the pump replaced... twice both times they were back before I got out of the parking lot. I complained to toyota and was issued a settlement check for them not being able to fix the problem. They said I would be the first to know if they developed a fix... I have never heard back from them.

Is it the pump or the injectors? Its coming front the engine so I figured the injectors and the pump is behind the drivers seat. Would installing aftermarket injectors/pumps would do the fix?

I might get mine replaced on my first oil change alone with some possible paint issues.

Thanks for the input.

Anyone have a set a stock rims they want to sell for a cheap price? At the moment if I could afford $100+ a wheel I'd pick a set of aftermarkets I want. No offense just being honest and cheap.

Your thinking about the low pressure pump the high pressure pump is under the hood. They have to keep the high pressure pump as close to the injectors as possible for safety reasons. Also toyota openly admited it's a known problem with the pump and it was when the car was manufacutresd they tried to insulate around the pump to mask the noise according to the person I talked to.
