This connector is for the fog light harness as I found out today. I do not see a connector/harness for the manual leveling switch for the BRZ headlamps. Correct me if I am wrong/overlooked something.

Here's my reference for the headlights.

Also, if you want the HVAC and ac-control unit from the BRZ as well, one thing to note is that the BRZ limited trim (priced at $27,495) is the one that has this ac-control unit:

The premium version (base model priced at $25,495) has the SAME ac-control unit as the FR-S ($24,930), not the one depicted above.

That being said, we just have to wait and see if just swapping out the parts will cost less than $2,565 (the cost difference of an FR-S and limited trim BRZ), which I'm sure it'll be less. I called up my Subaru dealer just minutes ago and they don't have a parts catalog yet.

I'm looking to do the exact same thing you are, lol.
im looking for the same swap... maybe not so much the headlights, would be nice, but i wasn that A/C unit from the brz limited in my FRS. so much better looking.

have you come up with anything new on this matter?

Anyone know how to do this or put up a DIY anywhere? I managed to snag a set off a wreck and am looking for directions for install.

I'm already running aftermarket hid, do u guys think it will fit in the brz housing? I don't honestly care about the auto levelling.. I'll just adjust it myself.

Did the dude respond?

Hey everyone,

I never published anything on the BRZ headlight swap/wiring. I have them all wired up but they are currently off the car. It wasn't hard to do at all. I'm going to sell them for cheap because the driver side headlight kept cutting off, from what I can tell the ballast is going bad and I'm just gonna get 10series headlights for mine. I'd be happy to share with you how I did it once I'm in front of my computer. Replying from my phone now. Sorry it took me so long, I've just been crazy busy at work. I work for Scion and sales have been crazy so I haven't focused on the car much lately.

Honestly just sounds like a bad ground. Maybe not enough power getting to them. But who knows with out having the car in front of me I can't trouble shoot it.

Yeah, I haven't had time to troubleshoot the wiring. Just had to change it out because I couldn't drive at night and didnt have time to piddle with the wires.

I'll take a pic of where I put wires tonight. I didn't repin the connectors, I just snipped wires. I have it set up to where the LED strip is the DRL and the headlights are the HIDs, didn't wire up the high beams.

As far as it being a bad ground, I'm not sure. The light would power up and the second the ballast warmed up, it cut off. Does that sound like a bad ground? I'm no electrician and have no clue where to start.
