I'll take care of you. Send me a signed title and I'll come to you to remove the sticker from the vehicle. I'll need to test drive the vehicle afterwards to ensure proper function.

OP, if you do not have a Dremel, here is a reason to get one. Cut that little square of glass right out of the window.

I'll agree that the dermal toxicity of metallic mercury is relative low, I was just thinking of ol @Jordanwolf when I read this:

"Acute inhalation of liquid metallic mercury in high concentrations causes a wide variety of cognitive, personality, sensory, and motor disturbances. The most prominent symptoms include tremors (initially affecting the hands and sometimes spreading to other parts of the body), emotional lability (characterized by irritability, excessive shyness, confidence loss, and nervousness), insomnia, memory loss, neuromuscular changes (weakness, muscle atrophy, muscle twitching), headaches, polyneuropathy (paresthesia, stocking-glove sensory loss, hyperactive tendon reflexes, slowed sensory and motor nerve conduction velocities), and performance deficits in tests of cognitive function."

fer sure - I ain't no toxicologist.

Well, is the sticker off yet? Can't be any harder than getting the '17 86 round badges off.

Did not have time during the week with work and all, so tried today. It was adhered really tight on the window and it took a little while to scrape a corner to get a hold of it all the while expecting the worst and thinking I may need to go get goo gone or a blade later in the day.

Pulled from the corner very slowly and to my surprise the enitire sticker came clean off!!

Thanks for everyone's advice and commentary!

I know it's fun for some to hate on CA, but come on now...

In 2018 California saw it's largest budget surplus since 2000. This was reported on June 15th, which was after your post, but California has been running budgets surpluses since at least 2013. For the last 3 years the California General Fund has run the following surpluses with 2018's end of year surplus estimated (cause we're not there yet.)

2015-16 - $6.17 Billion surplus
2016-17 - $7.46 Billion surplus
2017-18 - $11.45 Billion surplus

Facts can be found here:

But you might find this source more amenable...

On the other hand there's Washington State (which I love btw, Go Hawks since 1980!) which must be doing fiscally AWESOME for its' resident's to feel the need to criticize California's meager $183 billion dollar budget and 10% surplus. So let's hear it.

Having money does not mean it's not bullshit. I can't buy Sceptre gas cans courtesy of CARB.

Maybe they could use some of that to fix the damn roads. The roads in Detroit are in better shape than some I rode across in the Nor Cal area.

I have a bent TE37 and a bent camber plate to prove it

The roads are in constant repair. By the time they finish all of them in a region they have to start over (and usually add a lane while they are at it).

I can't count how many times this tax and that tax has been created or increased to fix the roads. Never seems to get done.
