Could we also please offer logging software solutions on this thread?
Maybe add logging options to the ECU and Engine Tuning Reference Guide sticky?

The only way I can tell what each of the above posts used to log the data is if you provided a screen capture and I can see the software name in the header.

I am still struggling to figure out how to log.
I have a tactrix 2.0 & a ELM327-BT, but still do not understand the various options for logging.
Which ones are free, which ones use tactrix, which are too slow for tuning, etc.

I am using BRZedit with the Tactrix 2.0. It really is a full solution for tuning and logging. And for the price its very very reasonable. If you have the Tactrix already then all you need is the BRZedit personal license. Keep in mind though that there are no tuned maps and you either have to tune yourself or get a tuner to do it for you. There is also the OFT (Openflash Tablet) which I also purchased this is a very awesome solution to store maps on the device and flash them without a PC, it also comes with stage 1 and stage 2 tunes which are great. The only downside to the tablet at this point is the lack of datalogging. To put it in simple terms, buying both the BRZedit license and the OFT device together are cheaper than an ECUtek solution, let alone the fact that they are unlocked and can be self or any tuner tuned :P

have you sent in these logs? those fuel trims are huge and you're running like 12.6:1 afr under boost.

Are there real differences between the way the 32bit ECU and 16bit ECU deal with knock? From what I've read in NASIOC and RomRaider forums, FLKC will not be positive with a max IAM on the 16bit. Looking at brn12345's log above, there is +ve FLKC loggged with an IAM at 1.0

@brn12345 - I wonder if the IAM is being driven down with a tip-in problem where you're applying throttle in a on-pause-on fashion.

3rd gear pull.

This is log from a recent pull. Anyone car to look it over and give me any insight. Good/bad...

Thinking im good, but would like a bit of insight.

Is the knock correction learn value a concern?
Map readings, how can i tell if my 3-bar map sensor is setup and reading correctly?

Thanks all

Here is the log file.....http://d.pr/f/bwUb

and an image for others to just look at...

Someone wanna take a look at these still working on the tune, having a problem with a few things. The ECU threw DTC P0107 which has to do with the MAP sensor. Also looking at the fuel pressure it keeps rising while at idle is this due to the MAP sensor or another hardware problem?

anyone care to have a look at my logs?

http://www.datazap.me/u/boofneenee/s...2630&mark=1826

Oddly enough I am running a stg 2 EL header using my openflashtablet but I have a stock header. I do however, have a nameless OP/DP with high flow cat and 5" mufflers that seem to be helping me keep my AFR and fuel trims in check.

Would love a second pair of eyes to let me know if this is safe or...

grider... Was that on 93 or E85?

I can't offer much insight into your data as I just started logging an learning about this myself. In comparison to my log I can guess that your's look a lot better in the knock area.

Your MAP value shows over 10psi and you have almost no knock and IAM is still 1. At less than 9psi with 93 my logs are horrible in comparison and I'm not sure why. My A/F wont go less than 12 for some reason and IAM in the last gentle logging session was .37.

To convert the bar value to psi I used the second calc in this link and it matches what my gauge is telling me and what torque app says.http://www.convertunits.com/from/psi/to/bar

Has the front O2 sensor been scaled to read below 12:1?

Yep. I've seen as low as 11.0 in the past.
I did some more tests today by changing psi and MAP and think it's the ROM file. Paul from AVO sent me a few maps while I was doing my install so I just emailed him some ecutek logs to to review. Hopefully he can confirm a problem in the base map causing it to be so lean.

thanks.

EDIT: For the sake of clarity, I saw 11.0 on a previous map and not the current one. It took me a while to figure that out.

Can someone look at my logs. I am running OFT Stg1 on 91octane with Injen intake and a catback. Things don't look too abnormal but honestly I don't really know much about tuning.. The ECU only had about 5 minutes before I did these runs. 3rd gear run from 2500-6100 (couldn't get to 7000 on local).

http://datazap.me/u/l0aded/run2?log=0&data=1-2-5-6-9

thanks.

Hi everyone, i'm fairly new to the tuning world. I've been running my OFT stg1 for about a week now and logged some data. Would any of you mind taking a look at it for me? Mods are hks intake duct, k&n drop in filter, invidia n1 catback exhaust, perrin oil cooler.
