Reverse/3rd brake light mounting w/ bash bar / diffuser

Hello everyone,

A question for those running a rear diffuser or bash bar:

I am looking to get a streetfaction bash bar for the rear, and would like to know if anyone has tried mounting a 3rd brake light/reverse light on there, or whether people just replace the whole unit altogether with a separate 3rd brake light on the rear window & a small reverse light (like a rocket bunny reverse light unit) mounted on the rear w/ zipties. Any ideas?

I have considered that, however with aftermarket Tom's Tails, that would not work. I assume going back to stock tails would be an option, but I'd like to entertain alternatives before going back to stock haha. Thanks for the reply!

I just realized that we have a a 3rd brake light at the back window, and the one at the bumper is a 4th brake light.

In this case, I have an idea of making the aftermarket reverse light plug and play to the stock harness so that I do not have to cut any of the stock harness.

Does anyone know what that entails?

I assume it has something to do with cutting the socket off one of the oem reverse light bulbs and wiring it to the aftermarket reverse light to make it a direct plug and play. Does anyone have experience or insight on this?
