Those tamper resistant ones are kind of a pain. I haven't done any outlets yet. This house was built in 1988 and one thing is for sure, there are plenty of outlets.

Edit: I have the tamper resistant outlets in the kitchen. I think I'll go with your recommendation and get them for the rest of the house.

yeah, i don't particularly like the tamper resistant stuff, but it's way easier than having to deal with burnt silverware!

When I was about 14 years old, back on the farm in Ohio, I had to shoot our dog. Yep, I backed over it (a small fox terrier) with my car, as I backed out of the garage (now that shouldn't surprise anyone, especially @Tcoat).

I could tell it wasn't going to survive so I put it out of it's misery with my .22 rifle. Then I buried it in the far back of the barnyard and put up a white marker.

My parents and younger brothers and sister were in Florida visiting relatives for about a month and I was in charge of the farm. When they arrived home, my little sister bounded out of the car and asked "where's Tippy?". I told her he was in the back of the barnyard. She ran to the back of the barnyard and came screaming and crying back to where we were, after she saw the grave.

That's the first and last dog I ever had.

I seriously question wtf my work is thinking.

They're upgrading the program... which is fine, but they're doing middle of the week and they're expecting to be done before we gonna be open. FYI previous upgrade 6.0 ver to 6.1 ver, it took over 8hrs... even though they claimed it was gonna only take 2hrs. This time, 6.1 ver to 6.3 (skipping 6.2) they're expecting to be done in 3hrs.

I wish, I don't need to go to work that day... but gotta go. Why they gotta do this to me before long vacation.

Yes, I need to check all the pc in my department to make sure it's been updated and testing out the program is working properly w all other sub programs. If I didn't have to go, I def wouldn't go.

i would bring donuts that morning for the update crew. if they ask what the occasion is, just say "for an easy day!"

They do that to make sure you will make the upgrade correctly the first time - knowing they could call you back from your vacation to fix it -
