I just get a little tired when The Genesis Coupes get so much praise...I Don't understand it. Have people forgot what sports cars are supposed to drive like?...or are the people who Drive Genesis coupes and rave about them the people who haven't driven anything else 'sporty' . If someone ever gives you their opinion about how a car drives, It goes a LONG way knowing what that persons owned and driven. In the past 4 months ive driven ALOT of cars. '05 Carrera, '11 Bentley GT (bosses car), '12 mustang V6+V8, '13 GC 2.0T, G37, 370z, '12 GTI, '12 Civic Si, Fiat 500 Abarth, '12 MX-5, AP2 S2000, '10 RX-8, '10 Evo x,'07 S4 and a '13 320i/328i. My comparison? If i could Draw a triangle with 3 dots, The 3 dots being a MX-5, AP2 S2000 and a RX-8, i'd put the FRS Dot RIGHT in the middle...i feel it has attributes and character cues akin to all three of these cars. Anyone think i'm crazy? BTW, the impression i get from a Genesis Coupe? A 2-Door RWD Sonata That desperately wants to be a G37

And also I have never read anything positive about the WRX you own other than its scorching 0-60 in 4.8 second time and its price. On VIR the 3.8 Track GC did better than it did and tied with the STI which should've destroyed the GC. |

I'm pretty sure a lot of people here test drove a GC in traffic and came up with the opinion that it is not that fun to drive but I have seen the same said for the Toyobaru in a couple reviews unless you live on super curvy roads or live near a track. I also realize every review said you need to rev it to have real fun with it or else otherwise it will feel like a regular sub-compact.

Some people will stay bias. Even though the majority of cars I like come from JP I can never be bias because they all have flaws too.

I autocrossed a 3.8 Genesis for a year and comparing it to a G35/G37 coupe is about as accurate as it gets. It's a GT. I really like it, but it's just not a small nimble car. Different class of vehicle from a Miata/S2000/FR-S.
I would have liked to had the 2.0T, as I know it's lighter and maybe more nimble, but 3.8 is all I have to base my opinion on. Totally would drive one as a DD though if I bought one.

Well, since i drive a POS wrx my opinion won't mean much
The 370 overall felt very nice. A little more focused and yet not as rough around the edges as the 350 i owned. A nice evoulution from the previous gen. A part of me wouldnt mind another one honestly. I don't know if i feel like spending that much again right now though. It'll be interesting to see which direction they take thr next z. Bigger more powerful to make room for another S chassis or if it itself takes the form of the S chassis
