What do you guys have to say about this ?

This is awful. I love the sound my intake makes but if I'm losing power this is inexcusable. I can't seriously imagine.... all that time was spent on r&d to make an intake that performs this badly?

I'm not a big fan of the tube being plastic, but the intake looks really nice. Sounds nice as well. Win-win!

I was thinking of getting this intake but I'm second guessing now. This test thread is scarring me away from it.

Hate to say it but I'd like to revisit the data that was initially presented by Airaid. Someone's data wrong. I'm going to reserve full judgment for now, for obvious reasons (see SIG).

So is this accurate, if so I feel like I've been a bit duped. I may have to ask for my money back.

Wow does not match up with other dyno charts. Seems there was something else going on in those tests.

Those with the intake installed, does it really feel like your car has lost 15 hp, almost 10% of its power? I see a lot of "pulls harder" "better response" not "feels gutless"

You would know if there was that much powerloss...

As long as your butt synopsis isn't based off engine noise volume you'd notice

Well, what (else) do you surmise is going on in my tests as compared to the rest? And just which part of the tests seems to be non conformal to your expectations? All tests on all intakes were ran the same way, and even then I included an additional fan for AiRaid with little to no difference, unless of course you think loosing even more power with the additional fan on is consequential?

I ran this on 2 different vehicles, one AT (@mechaghost), one MT - AT one had 2 different tunes, similar results, and even had one run with the fan blowing at it in case there was that "20% difference" in airflow issue.
