LOL, this thread is too much
Forget "torque" or "hp" , they don't explain much at all and they are directly related to one another - so they both 'win races'. Instead, ponder "area under the curve" and "gearing". |

Stu typically has very informative perspectives and isn't afraid to be socratic. It's when the name calling and de-railed arguments came into it that his footing was lost.. he's among the most informed whenever he posts so I wouldn't say bench racing. But whatever.. e-peens are out in full force here

AWD better for hole shots. Look at 911 Turbo S, GTR, Aventador. Agreed ... the AWD system does add weight, but were talking initial launch. OP: you need to install a state of the art twin -clutch transmission ... then you could beat those other cars. Maybe.

It's a pissing contest between those who think:
"AWD is the SHIT Bro - If it's AWD, a BRZ doesnt stand a chance" And those who say: "AWD is only faster in some cases" And then I say - "most of the fastest cars in the world are still RWD" and I get shit for it. |

That's not a supra, that's a 2jz in a tube chassis with supra headlight stickers and a Toyota badge.
