Was anyone else at Cars & Coffee this morning? I saw a 10 series FRS and 3 Orange FRS's.

Also, one of the orange FRS's has red panted taillights. The looked very good. I painted mine recently but part if the light is not completely transparent and I can't figure out why. Also, even though its been nearly a week since I put the last clear coat on, the light is still "sticky" to the touch. It's dry but if I run my fingers over it, I get a lot of resistance.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to clear up the lights? Would polishing the lights help? What should I use to polish them?

There is one the first Saturday morning of every month at Kart 2 Kart in Sterling Heights. There is also one the third saturday morning of every month at JD Racing in Novi.

First saturday? -_- That is literally the worst schedule for me Maybe I could make it out in August lol

What do others consider to be morning, for the third saturday morning schedule?

The one in Novi is usually from 10-2.

When is the Novi one? I need a heads up for events so I can set them in my phone to remind me LOL

It's always the third saturday of the month. The first one for the year is April 19th. Thats also the day of the MSU car show so ill be heading to that.

Typically, for the Kart 2 Kart one, there are people there the whole time but the best cars are there in the first half.

For The Novi Cars & Coffee, Its much the same but theres much fewer people there at the end.

There are a few different groups that do it but the most popular by far is the scca. They normally stick to parking lots but others will rent a track and set the course up to utilize the track and their own features. You will not leave second gear at an scca event for the track ones you will exceed 80mph. I do both of them as well as track days and drifting.

I'll ask one of the guys I drift with if they have a website the group I drift with is not a formal club just a group of friends that ask local factory owners if we can use their lots on the weekends. We only run in flint davison and lapeer and we all pitch into the cone fund to replace the ones we kill so really there is no set cost. As far as a formal drifting club the closest one is in ohio and they meet 3 times a year.
