Kind of AX related...

I'm doing this to see new AX tires... I'm doing it in a AX car (though not my primary one)... and I'm going to CA to teach AX schools! So if this is considered not relevant considering those things, what can I say????

Just wanted to mention that I've added a few updates. STX suspension killing it, and not us. Not in the least sorry I've brought this car (once the crazy winds died down).

Remember, this is with a bunch of camber, in fact full AX alignment and shock settings too (tweaked spring rates, but no revalving which I don't think is ever needed unless you run out of adjustment and the car kept getting faster.... remember that).

Do tell, Sam. Did you get any specifics on camber/toe settings?

My car still factory w/ those settings & I need some info on what's working when the suspension goes in.

Also, your bar is good to go now, yes?

Thx

I learned a while ago that I can't give away the farm on specs and stuff, and that sort of stuff has to go to cars I've done the suspension on. Sorry to say, I'm tired of doing other people's R&D.

Bars are in transit, Max Hayter has one on is car, Roy Blankney has one on his. One is stock height, one is lowered. No issues as far as they can tell!

We just have the car suspension about at 80%, and we are kicking serious ass. My codriver was fifth in PAX and I was sixth, and this was completing against serious national level talent (including two multiple national champions, one of whom is an EVO school instructor - both of whom we took out.). The car is still mostly stock, but within a month is should be pretty built. Then it will just tweaking.

Updates in the Journal section... with pics. And how it relates to Autocrossing this time? Well, let's just say you'll learn why you don't drive your race tires if you want to make sure you get there and home. And some fun pics too.

Not heard that term... It was a nice event, but it was obviously done to showcase their new tire. I try and be very level headed about these things. I think the tire is excellent, but don't think it is the end all, be all, for RT and ST. I think it's one more that will require testing to see how it works for you.
