Official 86 Expo Las Vegas PICS!

Short teaser shots from my iPhone, pics from my dslr will be up when I get back to Cali. @finch1750 and @PMok also took some shots.

@frsguy707 (Romie) setting up

@bignrichlll (Rich) @PMok (Plato) @86_ZN6 (JR) representing the Norcal 86 banner

Fletcher Jones Toyota Scion

More pics! I didn't post the pictures of the other cars on the lot because they have another thread for that (with much better pictures). These are the few shots I took of the NorCal group.

Setting up

Two thumbs up, everyone made it safe despite the minor car problem.

Enjoying the shade.

Love.

Our spot.

Free install from Romie.

NorCal represent!

Drivers and their cars.

Our tent blew and was destroyed by unusual high winds in the afternoon.

It is so damn hot here in LV. Over 105 degrees today. but we are having so much fun.. Reserved for pics.

Sorry I have not been posting much photos here or on IG. Not getting much sleep.

Here's a few NorCal specific shots...

Meeting up with Preston (559 FR-s) at Bakersfield.

In this battle of man vs. food, Romie takes the win for mankind!

No visit to Vegas is complete without seeing Elvis and a pawn shop. This one hits both in one shot.

@frsguy707 cruising down the Strip. He's so proud of the RS*R license frame that Moto Miwa gave him.

Those are my new secret advanced prototype racing stripes. They were carefully crafted and installed taking full advantage of the Bernoulli Principle and Venturi Effect as well as the Damocles Theorem. The high ambient temperature and even higher asphalt surface temp required some ingenuity to help compensate for the fluctuating downforce that would be encountered. So the radiancy ratio of the door panels was put to work with the stripes deflecting heat laterally to passively channel air in a longitudinal tangent and reduce the static friction cosine. It netted me about +5 hp per side as well as +3MPG and approximately 12 lbs of downforce. Probably helped cut about 2 seconds off my laptimes.

Those actually made it easier to pin point your car and they turned out pretty good. Can you do mine in other colors like red or gray? Or blue?

What an incredible weekend. There were definitely things that couldve been a bit more organized, perhaps some more meets to bring differents groups together, but it is Vegas after all, there was plenty to do!

yeah it's actually pretty easy. You just need one or two spray cans of the plasti dip and then some masking/painters tape. If you want to pick out what color you want and get the dip, I can mask and spray for you. Actually one can is enough for just stripes.
