That's what I thought when I read your post, then I saw the OP posted below yours and suspicion confirmed!

edit: Even still the OP said no one was comfortable...so there you go. Lesson is...treat this car like it's a two seater and you'll be golden.
My grandsons (8 and 13) fit back there and love it. My daughter rode back there for half an hour, got out whining about cramps in her feet, a headache from hitting her head and nausea from the bumps and loud exhaust. Needless to say she will not ride back there again.

That must be a record..........of small friends.
In college, I fit 10 drunken pledges into a '77 Honda Civic wagon (two in the front, eight stacked like cordwood in the back) for a Fraternity "initiation" stunt, and drove them 15 miles to relieve themselves on a huge rock outside a rival college's chapter of the same Fraternity.

Agh..the good old days when you didn't get killed (or arrested) doing something stupid on the road.....Sadly also (way) before cellphones so no photographic evidence.

Yeah I can only see kids or very tiny people "enjoying" the ride back there. I'm nearly 6 feet tall and climbed back there to see how bad it is....it was so much worse than I had thought it would be.

I have never once sat back there. Maybe I should give it a try.

It certainly is eye opening...at least it was for me.

However I'm very much like you. I never have passengers in my cars. And when I do it's only one person.

I'm 5'10 and I cant even sit up straight back there or my head hits the window.

Also, I discovered sitting behind the drivers seat is actually better than sitting behind the passenger's seat. Its cause the driver seat can actually go up/down, so theres more foot room x.x

I have no idea what you all are talking about. I've tried to look back there but I can't see anything that looks like a seat, just a little shelf I thought was where the optional wet bar goes. Is it behind the partition in the trunk? Maybe like an old-timey rumble seat? You know, I tried to put a full grocery bag behind my seat once, but I couldn't squeeze it through any of the gaps -- I had to drive home with it in my lap.

PS I love Tcoat -- whenever I see his avatar I know there's some fun somewhere.

The car weighs in around 2800lbs. 5 people weigh approx 700lbs. That is approx. 25% of the total weight of the car.

I would be scared. Real scared.
