Nice list. Are you planning on getting wheels/tires next? That'd help you lay down that delicious power.

Yeah, I really like the old Type-C SSR rims so if I can find a set or something similar I might go in that direction. I also like the new SSR GT V01 rims, its too bad the offsets suck. I'll probably go 17x8.5 and somewhere around 235 with Michelin PSS.
The budget can only take so much each month I've been driving my Forester XT for a few months since its winter time (which is the first FI car I have owned) and I took my BRZ out for a ride today. I have to say it felt like driving a turtle. I'm really looking forward to installing the SC. |

I feel like either I am missing something in the install manual or the manual is missing something on the drivers side (4.12). I had to remove one of the fuel lines (right) in order to get the injector cover off and remove the manifold:
They are a pain to get off and I rolled a bit of plastic (15mm x 35mm) that I cut from a paint can top to shim into the connector to release the fuel line. Last edited by olorin; 04-07-2014 at 09:55 AM. |

Getting closer:
Putting the new manifold on was a real pain. I had to remove the ECU and cut the tape bundling the harness wires to allow for enough room for the rear passenger side of the manifold to fit. The absolute worst part of the install so far is attaching the brake booster and evap to the crappy plastic L barbs-- such a tight fit. Now all thats left is to route the intercooler piping and intake. According to Bill @Delicious my cable+tune is shipping today so hopefully I can fire it up early next week. |

Got bored while waiting for my tune:
Everything is installed minus the intake tube and I need to fill with coolant.
