Passenger seat height adjustment?

I'm looking for idea here --

My wife isn't thrilled about being a passenger in my BRZ. She'd be much happier if the passenger seat had the same sort of seat-height adjustment as the driver's seat has.

Anyone have ideas about how to do this? Anyone gotten a close look at the seat adjustment mechanism to see if one could buy the spare part and flip it from left side to right side?

My only idea is to have a friend in Japan buy me a BRZ Limited driver's seat (or just the mount) to replace her passenger seat! Shipping would probably be a little steep (or, it occurs to me -- since I'm east coast, that ordering from the UK might be more practical -- if anyone's got it as a part -- or a wreck).

why in the world would a height adjustable seat make her happier?...unless she is 4'8" tall I would be looking for a new wife, not a new seat.

if need it higher, maybe stack some washers under the bracket and get longer bolts?

Just GOOGLE 'seat pillow' or 'seat cushion'. There are all kinds of solutions.

I understand. I'm 5' 4" and hate being a passenger in the car. Good thing I do most the driving...otherwise I feel ridiculous. The dash and bottom of the window are almost the same height as my eyes. Some people may not want to use a pillow because that's an "old person thing" lol. Just sayin

That's a much more expensive solution!

No, she's not that short, but neither of us are particularly tall. It has more to do with the seating position. She's not fond of legs straight out.

Find a right hand drive seat online from a car in the UK or Australia. Maybe it is possible to just order the lower frame of a RHD car and replace it.

Why? unless you're like 6"6" and hitting the roof having it super low is the worst possible position for driving.

I haven't studied under the seat but I think the suggestion to use longer bolts with spacers would be the easy way to tackle the problem.

I have studied the need for a seating solution and submit the following cushion solution (legs not included) -

Note: My doberman always pants with his tongue out.

It will be perfect for me if it can go 2 notches lower from the lowest position in the drivers seat.
