I'm not that herculean of a cheap-skate. I'll happily dole out $1,000 for decency.

Today had the hpfp replaced - a 4.5 hour job, including cool down and testing. Driving home, even stopping a couple times to listen at idle, didn't hear peep one. I lost my bugs!

Nice, I suppose I'll be the only chirpy chirpy cricket man with the ZC6 huh?

By the way, I got my mudguards installed and they are working great.

Mudgards: It is like zipping up your fly, or something; dressed for company.

Exhaust mod: Could be I'll add 4" burnished tips and hole the stock can with a 1/4" drill for the purrfect sound note = money saver and eventual replacement with pipe.

Reluctance regarding tunes, SC, TC is saving me even more money.

Let us know 300-400 miles later how it goes, thats probably when they come back alive. So far everyone whose gotten theirs replaced is saying that it comes back alive and also coming from my personal experiences with my first 300 miles without crickets.

Dont sweat it, I still have crickets in mine. The cool thing about it is that if I hear a car driving by with lots of crickets I will know its a BRZ/FRS coming my way.

welcome!

let me know if you're interested in the nameless axleback exhaust. it's just sitting my basement collecting dust.

About two months ago ish, I saw an old man around his 50s driving a whiteout FRS at Lowry and I honked at him once. Could that be you?

I feel the need for a Subota/Toyobaru mass meet up soon - now long overdue.

Saturday brunch and drive around Lake Minnetonka; animal farm visit - what?!?

We definitely need a meet, probably next year once its warmer with more production cars landing on our soil.
