I feel this car should have been a 5.5speed. Third and 4th are practically the same damn gear. Unfortunately, with such shit power output, 5 gears would make the car feel even slower.

You didn't look at this link. This one's for a six speed BMW gearbox that does have reverse. I think it's an M5 box

Seriously what are they doing to break the tranny with stock power

How the hell would you make a bellhousing for that?

Anything more than 450hp in this car and you're just better off buying something different and beastly.
Already tried it.

One of them is on stock tires too. Syncros failed.

There are so many factors to consider, you can't just throw out an obscure number and say that is the failing point. Heat and oil starvation are ultimately the biggest enemies, which has more to do with the tune and how you drive it..

You could probably make a single dyno pull at 500whp on pump gas and not fail, and you could probably drive the car balls to the wall 24/7 at 250whp and throw a rod. Hell, people have blown completely stock engines..

It's probably a hit or miss. I've been pushing hard with FI for over 50,000 miles.

Manual transmissions generally don't have pans like most autos.

A cooler and pump, and maybe an external tank to hold extra oil would be the way to go I would think.

Do you know what a manual transmission looks like?

I am currently running an external cooler.

I believe the fa20T is a bit tougher from the heavier weighted internals. FA20 pistons coming in at 311.2g, rods being 346.8g and cap at 112.3g.
The fa20T pistons being 360g, rods coming in at 370.9g and cap at 120.7g. As per Tomei not my own observations.
