Hi everyone, I am a owner of a tC rS 9.0. When I buy my car, first i was thinking to get the FR-S. When I go to the dealer and ask for FR-S, i test drive it and when I return to the auto mall, i found out that FR-S didnt suit for my need as it is too SMALL (for me only). Therefore, i buy the tC instead of FR-S and now i am not regret about the choice.

Both cars FR-S and tC are very good cars. They suits for different people need. Some people like a good looking sport car and having fun with the Rear Wheel Drive, and some people like to speeding in the street, some people need to room for everyday needs. For me, as long as it is compact car but has room that is enough for me and in the street, by law, although tC only have 179 hp, there are no different with other cars even they have 400hp. They are driving same speed as I do if not speeding.

I always thumb up and say hello to the FR-S drive beside me and they always say hi back to me. As I think FR-S and tC are just like brothers, i dont like to compare with those two.

So I dont regret to get tC instead of FR-S.

"Front Wheel Drive" and Sports-car are mutually exclusive concepts.

Everyone have their own interested. You don't like tC that do not mean tC is a bad car. You like FR-S that also not mean it is the best car in the world. There are no best car in the world, there only the best suitable car for your own~

There are nothing wrong with FWD.

Isn't a shopping cart technically a RWD as the cart is being pushed? If you were pulling the cart it'd be FWD?

Then again since you're pushing the cart it'd be RR (rear mounted engine + rear wheel drive).

You can't make everybody happy. Case in point, I know VW GTi's are pretty good (as per car rags) but I think they're fugly, unreliable, typical commuter car German quality (the more you spend the closer you get to Camry quality) glorified Golfs. Many people here are the same way with Scion products -the first time I saw a xB I threw up a little in my mouth but tons of people loved those shoeboxes (until the Kia Soul buried it with the LEDs in the speakers and hamster ads).

To each his own!

I always liked the TC. If you want something a little bit sporty for the street with no intention of hitting the track I would consider a manual TC or a manual Mazda 3 2.5L. At least until next year when the Civic Touring 1.5L coupe comes out with a 6 speed manual.

I agree that stock GTIs look kinda boring. But lower it and get some dark tints and it looks sweet. And it's sporty enough for street and track.

But Scion XB and iQ make me wanna puke too. IMO I don't think there's any amount of mods that can make those look good.

I think the "I'd like to switch my deposit to a FR-S instead" upgrade made the xB and iQ look a million times better.

TC was great on MPG, Sky used to have a 2010 one. 25 city and 35hwy. 5spd red.

I taught her how to drive manual in it. Rear seats are functional. Kinda like cheap man's G35 4cyl FWD bare coupe.

Then everyone got one so she switched to a Subaroooo impreza early 2000's, got stolen, bought a BRZ, and then traded that for a Corolla 2015. She drives my car more than me some weeks!~

TC's are more 3 member fambam oriented. IMO.

Hah, TC is how I got my car so cheap. Car listed for 21k guy was going to sell it to me for 17 and some change, his manager comes back, tell you what I'll give you that car for fifteen five because no one has really looked at it. I'm thinking huh? Idiot thought I wanted the white TC sitting next to it, then realized I wanted the FRS. He then says I was talking about the TC, said I wasn't.

So yea he fkd himself

Sure whatever you say...but no matter how you spin it, still a shopping cart.

The FR-S/BRZ are the perfect car until you move on to the next perfect car.
