Ouch! Really sorry.

I wouldnt use that small mirrors in the city.

Haha true. It actually sounds even better at low RPMs, but much much worse in the mid and upper range. Rasp x 1,000,000.

The sad thing is, I wasn't using the mirrors. I was completely turned around looking directly at where I was going. Futile.

I'm trying real hard to get just the piece I destroyed replaced, but it's not an easy task. I'm definitely going with a 60R though, no matter what. This exhaust is the shit.

So I shifted into reverse, started looking behind me, and while totally watching exactly where I was going, I drove my titanium exhaust directly into this plantless planter so squarely, you would have thought I did it on purpose, completely obliterating the last section of my exhaust.

The people whose way I was moving out of saw the whole thing. I told them it was impossible to see, and that the company should put some little trees or a pole in it or something. The lady told me they used to have plants, but they died. Awesome.

Sorry to see that... You'd guess if they saw you they would have warned you.

I've also had my issues with the car going into reverse. Have some slight damage in front of the right rear since I could see jack even using the mirrors. Those are the moments you wish you had the BMW downward folding mirrors

Here are some photos of the damage. Already have a whole new 60R in the mail and a new Cusco brace. Hopefully I can get this bumper cover replaced before my track day on Saturday, six days from now.

Did you consider rust treatment instead of white paint to save some weight?

im sorry about your crack up. I just lost my front fender and splitter in the tiniest clip of a curb ... my first ever accident/incident in 14+ years of driving.

Anyways I am surprised you didnt take the front badge off

I will probably be removing the front subaru badge when I respray my new bumper. weight off the front is weight off the front

It's hard to say. So far the only part I've made is a battery bracket. But I know I could make all of those parts way lighter than what Seibon does. Especially the doors. But just a really rough estimate, I'd say 2 pounds off the hood, 2 pounds each off the fenders, 1/2 a pound off the bumper cover, 2 pounds off the roof, 20 pounds each off the doors, 3 pounds off the trunk, and maybe another 1/2 a pound off the rear bumper cover. So... ~52 pounds maybe? That's based off zero science and 100% how I feel about things lol.

Got me new bits on. Actually, I did 5 days ago, but I'm just now getting around to posting the pictures. Still need a new bumper cover though.
