I joined the club!

After waiting for this car forever, I finally bit the bullet and purchased the 2017 CWP Limited in Auto (I can hear the Manuals booing me already).

I love the upgrades in the interior (even though some people hate it). I am a little disappointed that the 2017s do not come with Navigation. I didn't realize this until after I drove the car home (stupid me).

I've been on this forum forever (stalking) and I'm finally happy to be able to make this thread!

Details because I know you guys care:
2017 Limited Auto, with Popular Package #2 (wheel lock, rear bumper applique, cargo tray, interior ilum-blue, mirror compass w/homelink)

Negotiated price: 27,500 (does not include license/doc/state tax)
OTD: 30,520
My tax rate is 9.5 (Bay Area)
MSRP: 30,398

First mods (to be planned):
- Clear coat sealant (anyone know a good shop in the bay?)
- Clear bra
- licenseplate relocator kit
- tint

Agreed, tint is the best mod you can do to this car. I'm so glad I did it and was so impressed by the results that I took my truck in and had it done too.

This is post tint. Looks way better.

I went 5% on the rears and 35% on the fronts.

Thanks Shiumai! I'll have a look at it. I'm not opposed to the off-centered look of the relocator kit, though.

Congrats! Nothing wrong with having an auto. I have one in my BRZ and love it. Very responsive. And a big plus for the tint! It is a must here in Florida!! Plus I love the look!

What's this window tinting all about ?

Where I live a hot summer day is 68 degrees f.

In the winter, hiking in the rain, or on a gloomy day...very happy, amazed, to come back to my dark blue car, finding it warm inside.

You live in the only place in the world that has more fog than San Francisco LOL.

Congratulations to OP. Where'd you get it from?
