She sees the type of person Dawn truly is and why she is the way she is in the hospital. Basically how since she's supposed to be "in control" she has to show that somehow to the other officers so that they still respect her in fear of being overthrown. Even in a fair trade hostage situation, she felt compelled to negotiate for the upper hand or the last word AKA Noah returning. That way the officers that died didn't lose their lives for nothing.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm starting to feel like TWD has run its course. The first two seasons were great, but since the end of the second it feels like it is slowly becoming a daytime soap opera, with guns and zombies.

I get your point but I kinda like the direction its going right now.

I thought Terminus was really good. They did say they're changing the whole dynamic of the show soon. It seems that way too as they're getting rid of some of the lovey dovey characters like Bob and Beth.

Exactly, they already had the whole survival against zombies on point already, zombies don't even phase them anymore unless it is a mass of them. They threw in the drama to make it more interesting.
