I'm becoming concerned with all of these smashed, dinged and written of threads that there is some serious voodoo on these things.

even mine suffered rocker damage to sinkhole covered in snow.

Anyone have the number to a good witch doctor?

They wouldn't tell me or even call them as witnesses to the accident. Didn't care at all!
Guess if someone rents a Video then drives through their window they wouldn't try to find out who that was either. Assholes!! I'll be talking to blockbuster corporate soon.

Do it sooner then later. They don't keep surveillance footage forever.

One of the first mods should be a car cam like the Blackvue. It's a good investment to protect yourself and your car in the future. I plan on running one up front and one in back when I decide to purchase a BRZ.

Check out these two videos.

Is that a front and rear cam?

Find out if any of the stores around there have cameras trained on the parking lot. If they do then tell the police and your insurance company. The stores do give a damn and the police might not but your insurance company may pursue it. Good luck.

Why does that amaze you? It's the American Way. It always surprises me when people do the right thing. I'd be curious if a dash cam might have caught this.

And to the OP: I'm sorry for the situation, that sucks. It always sucks to come back out to your car after it's been violated. Been down that road a few times.

Something similar happened to my old 330ci while I was in a movie. They hit the front passenger side corner hard enough to ruin the wheel and damage the steering rack even. I just KNOW it was some dumbass on their cell phone.
