Ran 91 my whole life... no issues. All we got is 91 here in LA, no 93.

That's why I'm curious if they got a bad tank of gas or might have a problem they said it was intermittent over a few days or if they might have another problem. They have stock cars just drop in air filters

I got bad 93 once. LTFT was off, car wasn't running great. OFT tuned on 93 so I noticed it right away and Torque Pro showed things were off. I addeed some drigas in case there was water in the gas and I topped off with several gallons 108 octane (there's a station in Pinellas Park called Racin' Gas...) and that took care of the issue.

I THINK I heard knock on one of my previous cars during idle. How the hell do you guys detect it while driving? What does it sound/feel like? And don't say "like a knock"

It's more like a droun/clanking rattleing noise. On the link below is a guy on a bike you can hear it about half way through the video. Note this will sound a little different on cars and it sounds like it comes by the air box on drivers side(from the reports of the guys here) could also come from passenger side. This is usally occurres when the engine is in high rpm range or when under load i.e. Going up a hill fast speed usally above 30mph it is usally speratic now if it's consistent and louder it could be a rod nock or something worse.

The stock tune is for 93. It will adapt to 91 safely.

With some cars ...... the sound is more like a series of "pings", which is caused by the piston skirt slapping against the cylinder wall.

Sounds sort of like a muffled bell on a reindeer collar ........
