2017 up graded internals

With the upgraded internals for the 17 year model. How were the cams updated and we're the valve springs upgraded as well? Are both of these still worth upgrading if your staying n/a and do they now allow for higher rev and power output? If I'm looking for 40hp gain while staying in the 93 octane fuel with reliability would I still benifit these aftermarket upgrades or would it be better spent in other areas.

Thank you.

Think all the internal upgrades are for efficiency not power handling.

I have the 17' and love the upgrades. Just confused how they only got 5hp with an upgraded intake, Exhaust manifold, and polished internals ect.

17s makes about 10-15 more whp than previous years. Manufacturers only list HP at the crank.

The bulk of the extra power on 2017's is a much better OEM tune. The exhaust manifold helps too, but the tune is the biggest helper.

well that guy on youtube Justin put his parts from old build to 17' and got the same thing tuned. your not losing much with a older model. I guess the tune might be the difference
