Where would the Borla catback system place? Looking for something on the quiet side, with a good low sound.

I believe the regular Nameless Axleback is louder than the offset version.

Just too many to make the list comprehensive, and some people will have catted or non catted front pipes too. Good luck but it's not going to be exact.

If you are looking for more information on the same topic, check out this months issue of DSport Magazine.
I don't often spend money on mags (unless for ammo) but this one was well worth it.
Very thorough article and full of great information with links to sound clips, photos, etc. They also include decibel ratings and weight values. Good read!

Screen shots from the dsport vids include db. this should help you sort your list.

What RPM are you using as the comparison point? The GReddy Evo 3, for example, is quieter at peak than alot of the other catbacks, but at 3-4K RPM, it is the loudest.

Take a look at the DSport magazine article - it shows all of the available catbacks and how much power/sound they produce at various RPM points. Pretty good article.

I think every company who builds an exhaust system should do decibel readings. I wish they had a standard of measuring this like, inside DB, outside DB etc. This usbject is WAYYYYY too subjective to be accurate
and you can't estimate with videos either cuz they all use different equipment to record and we all have different speakers to listen to.

I'll tell you what I can do. I'm in Atlanta GA if you guys set up a meet with people with as many different exhaust systems I know a Pro sound designer who could do a sound recording session for every car with the same standard measuring system. we would have professional DB reading done under the same circumstances and same equipment, that way we could have a professional library of options.

oh yeah and this will be free.

For those posting videos here, isn't that what the stickied exhaust compilation thread is there for? I think pretty much every video I've seen posted has already been posted there. Not trying to be a ****, just seems like this is turning into a second thread of one that's already there.
