FS: Black 1999 Civic Si EM1 (Bay Area, CA)
For Sale: 1999 Honda Civic Si Coupe (EM1) in Flamenco Black Pearl
VIN: 1HGEM1157XL088839 Location: South Bay Area, CA Price: $7300 OBO Pros: - Completely stock - 118.6k miles (daily driver, going up) - Clean title - Timing belt & water pump (Gates OEM), cam/crank seals, and valve cover gasket all replaced professionally at 118.6k - Oil changed every 3k miles (last change at 118.6k in January) - Machined front rotors and new front brake pads, transmission fluid, air filter, rear tires at 112.6k - Brand new clutch (Exedy OEM replacement) professionally installed in June 2014 at 114k - Spark plugs replaced and throttle body cleaned at 116.7k - Plenty of tread on all 4 tires - Moonroof works flawlessly - Leather seats (rare option) are in great condition - Paint is decent - A/C blows cold - Averages 28mpg with 91 octane - JVC stereo installed by a previous owner. Includes AUX input. Cons: - Some scrapes, mostly on front and rear bumper covers. - 2 dents: one on passenger side front quarter panel and one small dent above passenger side rear fender (see photos) - Rear bumper cover is cracked on the passenger side and the clip holding it in place is loose. Purely cosmetic and does not rub against the tire at all. - Window trim is peeling due to age. - CD changer located in trunk doesn't appear to be hooked up, but it's there. Summary: I bought this car from Concord Toyota in April 2014 with 112.6k miles on it. Besides replacing the clutch shortly after purchase, I've had no issues with it, just regular oil changes. I'm only selling because I want something bigger. I'm asking for $7300 OBO based on the rarity of a clean title, completely stock, low mileage EM1 daily driver. This is the last gen Si with double wishbone suspension front and rear, and it's nearly impossible to find an unmolested example nowadays. Last edited by zygrene; 01-17-2015 at 10:32 PM. |

Boy does this bring back memories for me. It's amazing to see such a clean and unmolested EM1 these days. Good luck with sale!

KBB is a pretty useless metric for a clean, stock EM1. People list their modded EM1's with similar mileage for 6k all the time.

Just to clarify, is that a dent on the hood too, front right bevel?

As far as I can tell there's no dent on the hood. EDIT: Just kidding, you're right. I checked and there is a small dent on the passenger side of the hood right on the bevel. Props for even finding that in the photos! Last edited by zygrene; 01-24-2015 at 12:52 AM. |
