TIME! Car's been at the shop for 2 months. Problems and delays, I don't want to wait an extra few days for the coating. I'ma gonna double wrap that DP though for sure. |

Very nice work! I am going to work with @mrk1 to make something similar using metal though.

That's great to hear! It has totally sucked trying to get the Robispec to work. Wasted time and money trying to make incompatible parts work. The Robispec is REALLY nice, and cools both the coolant and oil, but has clearance issues with, I suspect, all top-mount turbo kits. |

@mike the snake...getting the proper fans for this setup is a must. I now have the SPAL 12" fans and two heat shields to the fans to combat the heat from the downpipe. I'll post some pictures soon.

Thanks! Yeah, with the Robispec and 1mm clearance, the fans up and died on the dyno before they'd even done any full throttle runs. I knew that was a ticking time bomb, even if we did get things to work and make it through tuning. I'm bummed it's now taking more time, but I feel better with now running these new parts that offer the proper clearance. |

Here's a pic of the opened up front bumper. I still have to paint the wire mesh flat black.
Drift Armor crash bar will be in soon, which along with the holes in the bumper, should allow a LOT more air into the front. |

Thanks Mang! That's the goal, I want to track the car without worry eventually. We moved the radiator forward and gained the necessary clearance between the fans and exhaust. I plan to do some "custom" ducting to help guide the airflow. If anything though, the openings will help keep the AC evaporator cool, which will help the AC work better too. |
