Thanks for the advice Tareim, but I don't really like the look of the flat slab like panel beneath the brake cooling ducts. I much prefer to have some kind of feature there. Its amazing what a difference an inch makes to the appearance of the nose..

The larger intake is a goer I think??

6k springrates seems soft for a dedicated track car like this? Are you planning to run slicks or semis?

Thankyou for the compliments Tor. Youre gonna really love it when things get going.. I have the cage to fit and the Wisefab suspension on its way. Life is good right now!!

6kg Springs may be too soft, who knows?? I'm a great believer in keeping it as soft as you can, some of the tracks here in the UK aren't the smoothest, and I like to let the dampers do their job, i.e. allow some compliance..

You're probably right though having said all that!!

I'm still banging away at this Buck for my new front end, pretty rough at the moment, but we can see where I'm going, think it may end up with a huge mouth in the end?

Once finished, I'll take mould off this and make a one piece lightweight front end.

Not skimping on anything! This is dedication.

The wisefab suspension parts look fantastic. Looking forward to the next updates.

Just to keep you all in touch. Here we are with some more progress on the front end Buck. All the corners snd fillets will be rounded off last of all. Still deciding what to do with the intake mouth??

With the thickness of the splitter, would it perhaps give the most harmonic look to continue it along the front and keep the stock intake size?

The "splitter" is not on there yet. The ledge you see is just there as a base for the filler etc. I think I'll probably follow the original lines in plan view, but bring the opening down 20mm?? Believe it or not, the bottom of the spoiler you see here is only 20mm lower than the stock nose.

Then I would vote for bringing it down the 20mm but retaining the recognisable look with the fangs. I.e. not bringing the center portion forward like the did on the GPRM car (or if they chopped it away completely?).

I've been playing with foam tonight, and I now know where Tor is coming from. It needs the "fangs" to remain looking like an 86!!

Pics tomorrow.

Really getting there now, hope you like it??

Please suggest any changes or additions you think I should consider. I plan on rounding up the nose over the license plate holes and maybe opening up the intake wider
