ABS , Slip indicator , check engine lights all on ( Not flashing )

Hey guys I’ve got a question. Every so often all three of these lights will come on together , not flashing, just appear. And after a while the slip and abs lights go away, and after a bit longer , possibly a day after , the check engine light goes away as well. I have an aftermarket catted uel header , and a catback exhaust if that matters. Been meaning to tune it but I haven’t yet either. Also it’s the slip indicator, not the traction control is off light. Just wanted to get your thoughts on what this might be ? I wanna say that the engine isn’t accelerating the smoothest it possibly could when these lights are on, but after replacing a faulty ignition coil a few months ago, it’s not noticeable unless I’m driving steadily on a highway. Any ideas ? Thank you.

Scan for codes when they come on, or even if they are off to see if there are any stored codes.

Expect p01c0. And c3300. Those are what show up when it does that to me. Gonna seem silly, but check your gas cap. And, in my case, just wait for it to be a persistent electrical issue. It's really fun when your gauges stop working, or you find yourself resetting your windows daily.

My expected explanation is 86k miles, and 5 Upstate NY winters as my only car.

4 Canadian winters and 120,000 miles and I have never seen a CEL. Not even sure where it is on the dash anymore.

Maybe the CEL bulb on your car is burnt out -

Reminds me of a back-in-the-day-Army story.

I was stationed TDY at Camp Parks, CA when one fine Sunday my friend who flew Huey helicopters ask me if I wanted to fly over to Stockton. He said he needed to have someone in the co-pilot seat before they would let him take off. I said OK, but explained to him I had never flown a rotary winged aircraft.

This fellow was a bit of a clown and was telling me how one could land a chopper even it lost power by auto-rotating. I told him that I didn't care to find out if that was true or not.

About that time he did a weird maneuver and this big red light in the middle of the dash began flashing and sounding off! He straightened it out and explained to me that was the warning light to signal that the craft had lost its lift and that he was just testing the light and alarm.

I screamed at him "DON'T DO THAT NO MORE"!

I never flew with him again -

THE END
