So I just called them and apparently SoA can't update my order with my email address. Kind of odd? The operator said I can just make sure the retailer/dealer adds it to the order (thought the sales guy was going to because he asked me for it).

I'll probably just need to call him and double-check. She did say notifications would come by email. So I wonder if he forgot..

I had a question that I can't find the answer to, and its stumped the dealer as well. He's gonna call SoA tomorrow to see if he can get an answer.

Since the tires on the PP are wider (I'm assuming to clear the larger brakes), is the spare wheel changed to also clear the brakes, or is it the same spare that comes with the non-PP version of the car?

As far as what I have seen, the wheels are 1/2" wider but use the same tire as the standard. As for the spare I have no idea. I'd be fine with an inflator/sealer kit anyways.

Update on the wheels: SoA wouldn't answer my dealer's question with certainty so I guess we'll find out when we get the cars!

I think I've read that the spare does clear some of the aftermarket BBK's. I tried searching but couldn't find where I read that though. I would assume it fits as that would be a huge goof on Subaru's part if it didn't.

I have zero doubt that they have taken appropriate actions to ensure that you will have the ability to drive the car if there is a flat. Not even sure how this is a concern really.

Op is happy with the decision that was made. In fact, the none PP BRZ was such a good deal. It was enough for the op to go buy a second car for daily. A daily that is capable of offroading. Now Op can enjoy more than one type of motorsports, also keep the BRZ pristine and have an all-rounder, with decent MPG, winter capabilities keeping the BRZ miles down for higher resale value. Op understand this isn't the same situation for everyone, and not everyone would have gotten the same deals as the op or has the same needs as op.

Thank you for your input, though the op appreciates every and all thoughtful comment.

As much as I want to say something like a Jeep Wrangler instead

I got a bulletproof 1st Gen 01 Honda CRV SE with no rust/no issue and barely 103k in miles and stupidly Honda if well maintained will run for a long time 300k at least I'm keeping this unicorn,
