really? so if you're driving drunk and kill someone because you drive into them, that's their fault, because they should have been able to avoid you driving into them?

you really sound like someone who's trying to say that nothing is your fault ever, and putting it all on other people.

Cops = worthless
LOL. No matter how hard you try to mask it, the fact you're a looser still shows thru.

I have said that to a police officer and he did agree but said hes doing his job.

The only poor life choice I have made is buying this budget "sports car".

Im trading it and getting a proper sports car (E92 M3), then everything will be right in my world.

However most cops I know are military combat veterans who chose to become public servants to help people, not to "generate revenue." Many of my friends who became cops knew they were taking a mostly thankless job to take risks that most run away from. Also, I'm pretty sure cops don't get bonuses for writing tickets.

Anyways, whenever I get a speeding ticket, such as a 71 in a 55, I take it like a man, instead of blaming cops for generating revenue.

If you really want to show cops your disdain for the ticket, be a man, take it to court and win.

*Just a tip, probably a good idea to keep this forum focused on the car and not on your personal political beliefs. That's what Occupy is for.
regardless of why someone becomes a cop is irrelevant for the most part. even with good intentions from the individual they get thier hands tied by the system in place. i know a few police officers myself. good guys but even they will admit that there is things that policy forces them to do that just isnt right.

LOL @ you insulting ppl then trying to take the high ground.

I am a combat vet and dont know anybody who went on to become a cop. I contract as well and the LEO guys arent thought very highly of.

Instead of playing the internet tough guy, why dont you keep it on topic. I said the car is cheap and not a sports car and talked about tickets. You played the childish "you wouldnt say it to his face" bit, what are you 12?

I was respectful and said to the cop "wouldnt you rather be chasing bad guys than writing nobodies like me tickets?" He said he would and agrees but he doesnt make the rules.

But youre a young guy, so I wont hold you to a high standard.

What policies are you talking about? This discussion is for traffic tickets which are generally discretionary, so I'm not sure how policy is relevant.
The topic is traffic tickets.... and guess what?

Cops write traffic tickets so how is it off topic??

You seriously need to relax buddy. This isnt RIP.
