That was his first drive with it..... he bought it the day before. the guy was not hurt but the airbags deployed, probably totalled.

Sunday on our drive we also saw a mini that lost it on hwy 9. Lost it coming down, went across the road up the hill sideways into a tree. Someone had already stopped and two guys were standing there with their phones to their ears,so everyone looked ok.

There must not have been any crowds of people around to get the mustangs' attention.

4+ tons!! omg thats so big. Youre so cool. Omg wat are you doing here with the small people.. holy crap 4+!!!!!!! WOWWWWW youre sooooooooooooo cool omg omg omg omg omg omg.

In all seriousness tho:

This type of thinking is extremely dangerous and I am willing to bet that in a real situation where a minor collision could have been avoided by you braking instead could end in an "accident" all because your subconscious wanted to see what would happen to that poor little car if your truck touched it sooooooo badly.

Good thing you specified it's your work truck or else I would have went straight to the big truck = small you know what.

I've driven commercially for over 5 years, no accidents.

Most drivers don't give trucks respect or space they require. At the end of the day if somebody hits me in a accident I can't avoid, I drive home in my undamaged 86. That's the point.

Some lady hit my co-worker the other day in a honda civic on the highway. Cut in front and clipped his front bumper from her fender to quarter panel. Tore the entire car apart, and the only damage to the truck was a bent bumper and bumper frame. People don't pay attention, and drive like maniacs because they're impatient.

It is more apparent to me in my 86, given the contrast in size between the two vehicles. I drive very conservatively and defensive around town as a result.

You can't drive as a big component of your job and not be calm with the amount of stupidity that happens on roads daily.
I wish I had a dashcam to record some of this stuff. Some of it is borderline criminal.

Drove to work this morning, 5:30AM, one car 2 cars length behind me on the highway.

I guess she tried to overtake me and she started to almost top over in her old Subaru Forester. She clearly lost control for a good 5-10 seconds. I accelerated and made sure there was some distance between the two of us. Made it to work alive. Did not crash.

I was an Army truck driver for several years and have seen people do things that just make you wonder if they had a death wish. Cut in front of and then brake check a 5 ton recovery wrecker pulling another 5 ton truck with "Danger Explosives" written all over it? Really?

The wife drove the twin to work today. She thinks she's all that and a bag of chips. Have to admit, she does look sexy driving it.

She did not crash.

Followed a Pinto down the highway this morning. Anybody that thinks our tires are narrow should see how comically skinny theirs are!

Did not crash into him and die in a explosive fireball.

As I recall they are 165R13. I remember this because at one point in college my girlfriend had a Pinto (or it could have been a Mercury Bobcat) and I had a Chevette. The Chevette had even narrower tires (155/70R13).

I did not crash. Unfortunately she did, but there was no explosion.
