@wutsaiu

@gtpvette

Works great. Only issue I have found is that I have a little bit of heat until I put it on Max heat. Heat works extremely well after that haha. 90% positive It's because dual climate with no working A/C

Edit: Picture from top of engine of JDL swapped frs. Notice the A/C lines.

Quick Idle Clip. Shows how quiet the exhaust is. Needs to be louder

Running a Greddy Evo GT. It's a 3" with a 18" resonator in the midpipe along with the large mufflers at the back.

Plan is 3" from headers into a single 4". Should help with breathing and make it louder (hopefully not too loud)

There a guy local who's selling that exact one on CL. As an old guy,,, I want it somewhat quiet and no drone at highway speed. I'm only 3.6L VS your 6L (or is it 6.2L??),,, what do you think?? Beats making one from scratch.

Corsa is the only exhaust I’ve used that kills all drone. They have a cross over system in a 3” designed for 1998-2002 camaro and firebird.

The muffler design is similar to the original 86 muffler, you’d still have to fab the rest of the system. I almost ordered it up for mine but I need 3.5” or 4” as well.

I would recommend the Dezod 3" exhaust. I was planning on switching to it before I decided to go 4".

Quick third gear video with one of the mufflers removed. I may end up just removing the mufflers and running straight pipe.

Think I might try this to help kill the drone. (Click Picture to read "How to")

Well. I cut up my nice Greddy exhaust to get me a nice single/center exit that I can use with a diffuser. Was going to use one of the mufflers from it, but the way they are designed with an offset outlet made it unusable.

Sounds amazing, except it drone horribly at 2k RPM. Right where I cruise at in every gear. So killing the drone with the resonator pipe is even more important now. I think I have found 2.1 feet is the length. I just so happen to have enough pipe to make one. So that will be done when I get the time.

Good discussion on making one and the example was spot on for us V8 guys with drone at 2K rpm.

Exhaust Resonance Tube

I did get a change to Auto-X the car this weekend. Car did alright. I didn't have super high hopes as I haven't really done anything with the car since the swap and even since RB kit was installed. Fasted time was an 81 sec. Few faster cars. Even an FRS. Though he only drives the car on the track and does it all the time. So he knows his car extremely well, and it's well set up for Auto-X. 77 Seconds.

I was surprised at how well the car did at not trying to flip around. Once I got used to the course, I really focused on the car. I started noticing the traction control light would go off and I could feel the car slow down. My rear rotors were significantly discolored after the runs. Got a few fun runs in after the even where I could play with the car. Sure enough, if I turned traction control off, the car would hang loose/slide around with 0 issues. So even though it has no control over throttle, it will still grab the rear brakes. This leads me to believe that is where my loss in power is coming from in the times playing with friends.

I would just like the point out that I didn't put the numbers on my car... That "6" drives me nuts haha
