I'm only merely speaking my opinion. I'm not here to tell anyone what they should and should not buy.

I would not buy a Mitsubishi at this time, but I'm not going to stop anyone else from doing so (in fact I do hope this happens so Mitsubishi can stay in the states).

Mitsubishi have stated they are out of the performance car market for good.
Ya, the individual "I wouldn't want a XXX" isn't what gets my goat here. It is the opening "I don't know how companies stay in business because I personally don't like their cars" mentality that does. Individuals can most certainly have likes and dislikes it is the assumption that everybody should agree with them that is wrong. There are perfectly valid reasons why there are several hundred makes and models of cars.

IMHO for me I would never buy the same car if there were serious issues in getting it repaired by the dealership. This coworker was so afraid of our boss to ask for time off of work to get her car repaired. Because she spent 3 years taking the damn car back to the dealership for repairs. It became the laughing joke about her Buick. I never said I didn't care for Buick.

I may get the same car but I would be damn sure to do my home work on it first.

I guess I phrased that wrong, because I am aware that they sell well. The thing is that it's kinda weird to me. Like why do people keep buying Chrysler 200s and Fiat 500s when they top almost every list for unreliable cars? I guess it's nothing more than the price, especially for the 500,but for you pay for the 200,you could get plenty of better cars.

My family car is a Buick Enclave that I purchased new when it first debuted. The vehicle has been flawless and is very reliable. Reason we purchased the Enclave? Tiger Woods was pitching the car back then. I know ... stupid reason. 3rd row seats. Very comfortable when we do our holiday trips to CA to see family.

Do I like the vehicle for it's brand or looks? No. Would I buy it again. No. But a Buick is very reliable and comfortable. I'm too young to drive a Buick, but it works.

I am not a brand fan boy. If I like a certain car ... .then I will buy it regardless of brand. Hell ... I never ever thought I would buy a Scion. Then the FR-S came out.

Never say never.

I remember a few years ago when a story came out saying that a lot more younger people were buying Buicks and I couldn't understand it. If you like it and it's been doing well for you, good for you. I guess they are more for people that are just looking to get from point A to point B,and nothing more, and for that I really can't knock them.

With Buick's success,I always wonder why Pontiac, and especially Oldsmobile failed.

Buick's SUV's are selling like mad. They are pretty great.

Pontiac was closed because their were too many brands. Oldsmobile was closed because GM was a bunch of morons. Their last few years of vehicles were phenomenal.

Buick sells best in China. For some reason Chinese people absolutely love Buick.

I would never ever buy honda. I hate that car company with the passion of a billion nuclear bombs. It is totally irrational and I know that. Although they have really stopped giving a crap the past couple of decades, we'll see if the Civic Type R is the beginning of a change back to when they cared.

Neither really "failed" they were killed due to corporate restructuring. Not sure where Oldsmobile stood but Pontiac was still doing great when they got axed.
Really both just were redundant in todays market since they just gradually morphed form separate cars in the 50s and 60s into just different trim levels of the standard GM platforms through the 80s and 90s.
