I would imagine that anyone doing this will want the boomerangs on all the time...but correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe more functionality and switches would be a good thing, if it wouldn't increase cost or affect durability.

Agree with Phaedrus29, I think the first 3 options are awesome to have, but if you can add that 4th option without extra cost, I'd like that. Man, if this is anything close to the tail light mod (ease of install), I am so in for the pre-order~

I know I am asking too much as this point, but maybe switchbacks for the boomerang? :P

Function:
1. Boomerang is always on with DRL.
2. There is a "DRL with Headlight" switch so you can have DRL off with headlights (stock), or on with headlights.
3. If you have the "DRL with Headlight" switch turned on, there is a dial so you can adjust the brightness of the DRL when they're on with your headlights. For "OEM style" function, you can turn down the dial so they dim when your headlights turn on. This only adjusts brightness of them when the headlights are on. The DRLs are still always full power when headlights are off (stock DRL function).

We can make a switch for the boomerang function too if you guys want. Does anyone think there would be a desire for DRL Always-On functionality ONLY? (Boomerang would not turn on with DRLs). Maybe we should just add it for the heck of it. As usual, main cost here is OEM connectors, not the tiny switches.

We will be messaging everyone in the initial list, posting here, and making a new thread. We will be producing 1000 units in the initial run, so there won't be any availability issue (aside from waiting for us to actually make them).

Thanks guys!
Heads up that the list hasn't been updated since 5/22. There are TONS of us who have posted since then to get on the list that were never added.

Awesome, @Diode Dynamics! If the cost for that 4th option is pretty small, I think it'd be totally worth it to add. If it's another $10 or something, probably not worth it.

Would it be another switch, or just an installation option? I imagine if it's just a "leave this disconnected, for OE boomerangs" type thing in installation it would be a pretty nominal cost, and serve the purpose just fine, as people could just go in and change it when they want. A switch in the cabin would be overkill if it adds significant cost.

All of it is controlled via switch and dial on the module itself, under the hood. About the size of a zippo lighter, not obtrusive. Set it once how you want it and forget it. A switch for the boomerang should not add significant cost so I think we are going to incorporate it.

Guys please don't worry, we will go through this thread and use the list, and you will know when we release it!

Paul
