If the FRS style bothered me I'd pick up a BRZ one as well, no good looking aftermarket ones popped up in my 5 seconds of googling, but I'm sure a few more people will mention alternatives.

Amazon.com: Genuine 2013 Subaru BRZ Chrome Fender Trim: Automotive

Edit: I REALLY like the idea of removing them altogether as above, but that would require a bunch of filler material and a respray if I'm not mistaken? Could definitely be done DIY and a couple hundred bucks to respray and blend the paint, although you may never match a white car...

The amazon trim requires the stock subaru trim to already be present, it has 3m tape that sticks onto the existing subaru trim

I'll stop by to throw in my 2 cents. I think it looks good shaved and stock. I don't like the way most after market ones or the BRZs look(too fake/gawdy since they don't actually do anything) but that is just my opinion. The car looks great with any garnish, just could always be better

No fender garnish makes it look curvy and big... like a 350z... I'll leave my brz stock or paint it black for maximum value for effort.

Digging this thread up because I really want to tackle this. Can't really find pics of any altered stock garnishes. If you go cutting into the Piston badge would it be solid throughout, or a hole beneath perhaps?

It's a boss with a badge on top. If you cut the boss flush with the main surface of the garbish, I believe you will have a hole
