Wow! I vaguely remember it but don't remember what I thought was the only thing you could do.

If the power bump was +5%/+7%, that'd be a bigger deal, but the +5 HP and +7 Tq (peak, anyway) is kind of a joke for Toyobaru to be trumpeting about. That's basically nothing at all. IMHO they should be concentrating on the real changes like the new aluminum intake mani, engine problems addressed, new styling, suspension tweaks etc. But a bump from not much to still too little is not a selling point.

I used to be a member of another car's forum and the announced power "increase" to the Toyobaru had become a meme. They were fucktards on that board, they don't get what the deal is with this car, but still, they were right in that power increase ain't much.

It would be easier if they kept the engine AS-IS (who said about engine problems?) and work on a bigger displacement powertrain for the rest of the crowd. A 2,500cc wouldn't be too bad. We have already the FB20 & FB25. Why not having the FA20 & FA25? This wouldn't ruin the character of the car. What we got instead? A red aluminum manifold and other engine revisions with non-noticeable gains.

It looks that we'll live with that and the aftermarket community can be happy again. I didn't have plans to change my car anyway. Now, I have one more reason
