No HD radio, however the reception on this head unit is much better than my stock BRZ unit and my previous pioneer units for one reason or another. my local AM sports radio station that I would occasionally have trouble picking up without static comes in crystal clear now.

Hmm so only thing you would lose coming from stock radio is HD broadcasts. Good thing I never listen to radio as its all shit down here .
Should be pulling trigger on this. Probably tomorrow after meet whether @SHIFTER shows or not

Okay, so this will sound silly, but one thing I hate about the stock radio is how hard it to to scan the radio, as it lacks hard buttons for this.

Do the skip forward / back hard buttons on this unit seek up / down the radio stations? Or at a minimum to go through the presets?

I'll verify on my drive home, but i believe the seek up/down buttons skip through the presets and the knob on the right will allow you to roll through all the frequencies.

So, was anyone able to confirm if a backup camera like the Rydeen Duo will plug in and work the same way as on the Stock BRZ HU? Like, does it automatically come on when you put it into reverse?

Yes it will work, triggered by the reverse gear as you would expect. If you have it wired into the stock radio - the only change you will need to make is to unplug the rca from that harness and plug the rca into the back of the actual stereo on the Dashlinq4

Does it read flac files off of a flash drive or external hard drive through the USB?
USB2.0

No

It should - install this app http://lifehacker.com/5805924/the-be...on-for-android

No gaurantees on the Flac playback though - but since its android it SHOULD with a correct app that can decode it.

Just wanted to report my experiences so that anyone considering it has as much information as possible.

So what exactly does the right knob do that can't be done with seek buttons?

Ok, one more question regarding backup cameras, does this unit have built in guide lines for the backup cameras that you can adjust like the stock HU?
