Most people think I'm crazy but I have a 2008 Mustang Shelby GT500 and am trying very hard to get an FR-S/BRZ.

My boyfriend was driving 2007 BMW 328i and had 70,000 miles on the vehicle and I was looking for him a car for driving back and forth to work that was good on gas and fun to drive,..I found the Scion FR-S on the lot we test drove the car and it reminded me of my RX-7 that I had back in the day and I was hooked,...he bought that car and I ordered the BRZ,...mine will be here on or before 11-05-2012...I drive now a 2009 C350 Benz and the car I had before that was 2006 BMW 530i.....this car doesn't have the power that my cars have in the past but, it's going to be fun to drive and play with....."that what she said"...lol

2011 Scion tC. Worst purchase decision ever. Needless to say I will never buy another Scion again (and most likely no Toyota-branded vehicles, either).

was done playing the "german" car game a long ass time ago!
some reasons:

1) cars are too damn expensive! (germans don't give anything away!"

2)they are status symbols, and NOT worth the "tall"money they get for them!

3)all of them have no more than "average" repair records, even the "most" expensive!

4) japanese build a "better quality" car for considerably "less" money, and just about all japanese built cars have a "better than average" repair record.

5) ask yourself WHY,if their cars cost so damn much, their warranties are "no better" than any other car built for much less? why? is this? the germans are constantly hammering at the public how f**king great german engineering is!
what a bunch of crap! all that is known for sure is,you are going to pay one hell of a lot more money for a german car that's all! eh! he! he! ohhhh yeah! i almost forgot! the so called "half ass" prestige of owning one! ehe he he!

I'm hoping to actually compliment my current cars with a white-out FRS when I can find one on the lot.

This guy. '98 Corvette. Friends think I'm crazy, and I'm sure many of you that traded in your more "prestigious" cars compared to the FR-S/BRZ have had the same experience with your friends, but I love my FR-S nonetheless. Wouldn't trade back for anything. Although I will admit that I do miss the extra horsepower and massive torque sometimes though

I've only had used beat up vehicles. My last vehicle was a 96 Camry.

the inside door handles just fell apart so i couldn't open the door from the inside (both front and rear because I replaced the front with the rear and it broke also). I had to roll down the driver window and pull the outside door handle to get out. Thank goodness it was automatic windows. Then the driver window motor broke. I had to roll down the window manually to pull the outside door handle. LOLz. Things just keep bad. Kept getting the dreaded CEL.

My first sports car, I'm enjoying every second of driving it!

03 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V. Awesome car, but defiantly can't hold a candle to the FR-S.
