150 miles and chirping loud and clear as I pulled into my garage today. Gonna report to my dealer and wait for a TSB. Fingers crossed that a DI fuel pump revision fixes the noise. I have no access to ethanol free gas anywhere around me.

Dang, sounds scary. Makes you wonder, how do you tell what gas is good? They all sell around the same price, and the only thing you know is that they have roughly the same amount of ethanol, and the octane rating is supposed to be somewhat accurate.

Considering that most gasoline comes from the same refinery, the only difference between brands is just the special "detergent" that they use (its a drop in the bucket too). :/ I doubt there's really any difference.

Chriping is back ever since I stopped filling up with not ethanol-free fuel. $4.00 a gallon was too steep to swallow, that's $0.60 more per gallon to fix a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place.

I heard it on someone else's BRZ at one of the meetups, it was definitely noticeable. Luckily mine doesn't have it.

Chirping started on a trip to Denver with 10% ethanol fuel from a Kum&Go, after trip filled up at Safeway with their usual 91% and the chirping went away. Mileage is about 2350 right now.

3 weeks 1300 miles later. No chirping, not a single issue with the car other than it making me spend money on mods

My BRZ is #2183

Does your fuel have ethanol in it?

Try this for 'expensive'

I'd gladly pay 5 bucks for non-ethanol 93 octane in NorCal. Unfortunately the only way is to mix 3 gallons of this 100 octane with 10 gallons of 91. Even at these prices they put ethanol into race fuel - 8.9%...
