Tire Wear question

i'm running some General tires with about 20k miles on it. i noticed that i was sliding everywhere too easily when i drove in light wet snow conditions.

i then took the wheels out and noticed that my rear right tire was almost fully bald compared to my other three, is this normal? what can i do to fix it?

my car is lowered on bc coils with 19" rims. thanks in advance.

Did you get it aligned after lowering it?

Sounds like the toe might be off.

Get an alignment.

Are you running summer tires? Those won't be any good even in light snow.

with the rear control arms, then take it to alignment shop for adjustment?

Yes, make sure the place you take it to will work with your new adjustable arms. Some chain shops won't.

That looks like camber wear contributed by toe.

I am running a fairly aggressive alignment for street use and have nowhere near that level of wear on my tires, and my toe is virtually zero.

Where you should start is with the last place you got an alignment.

Camber by itself should not have that type of uneven wear. It's bad toe on your passenger side rear wheel.

never got an alignment, lowered it myself. and im beating myself up for it now.

always best to get an alignment. if you dont though, check you tires very often, and the second you see some odd wear, you know, you should have gotten an alignment. i lowered and added front camber to my car. measured my toe my self, determined it was fine, and have gone through 2 sets of tires with no abnormal wear. its a gamble i guess.
