Maximum weight in the trunk?

Hi guys
I'm planning to transport quite a few big wood boards around 1.5m length and they're heavy.
Obviously I'll have to push the back seat down so at least the weight will be quite evenly distributed.

I don't want to break my car. Just wondering if anyone knows the maximum carrying capacity of this car? Cheers

Cool, less driver and passenger that still leaves a lot of weight to carry. Whole stacks of timbers there. Thanks

Whatever the GVWR on the door (where the VIN sticker is), less driver.

So considering this car is around 2700-2800lbs, the capacity will be the GVWR minus curb weight of the car.

I would rent a truck. Cheaper than a new suspension.

It might be rated for 900 plus lbs, but that's almost half a ton.

Not my car thanks.

Same here. Not just because all that weight isn't great for the suspension, but also because you'll end up scratching up the backs of your seats, the plastic around the trunk and just about any other place they touch. You think you'll be careful, but that trunk hole is not very big, and you will end up banging that stuff around in the car.

You can rent a truck from Home Depot by the hour.

I just moved using my car as an aux moving van. Never again. Get a proper vehicle or live with the damage you will do.

I think the real question here is:

What are you gonna do with all that junk?

All that junk inside your trunk?
