Rep Rocket Bunny V3 Spoiler Bad Fitment

So I recently purchased a replica rocket bunny v3 spoiler from ebay and after getting it painted I realized that the fitment is pretty bad. It doesn't really line up with the trunk unless you push it pretty hard. I know I probably should've checked before getting it painted and I definitely regret that but I can't really do anything about it now. It's made of plastic so I was wondering if I'd be able to possibly use some heat to mold it the right way? If anyone has any experience with this I'd greatly appreciate some help.

Thank you

That's what you can expect with replica parts. Any idea what kind of plastic?

Usually you have to sand and fit the parts of almost any company, but especially reps.

It will probably need some work done to it and repainted to fit properly. Sucks, but a competent bodyshop should be able to make it fit well enough if it isn't total crap.

I got it painted by a body shop and they said they didn't feel comfortable putting it on since they didn't wanna break it. Maybe it was a bad body shop idk.

It was. Either that or they saw how bad it was and didnt want to do the work to make it fit.

I understand that it's a rep but why wouldn't any manufacturer at least test fit it on a car temporarily before they ship it?
