Picked mine up this past Saturday. Order was placed March 21st so it was right on the 6-8 week schedule the dealer quoted me when I placed my order with them. Absolutely love it.

Definitely tougher getting in than my Forester but I am going to use it as motivation for this old fart to get in better shape!

I parked way away from the door at the grocery store. I am in no man's land with the hope that no one will possibly park near me. My Forester had a couple of small door dents from clueless people just opening their door into my car. That drove me insane and it was just my Forester. I may go postal if/when that happens to my BRZ.

Here is a pic of my car parked way away from the door at the grocery store. You might be able to tell I am in no man's land with the hope that no one will possibly park near me.
I know the feeling, having a long(ish) torso, I've had to learn the order of operation to get in without banging my head.

but parking further away serves both purposess... no door dings and extra steps in your day... lol Enjoy!

You will love the performance package. I had an FRS before getting my '17 Yellow. I threw a lot of money at the FRS trying to make it what the '17PP already is, with a warranty.

Can confirm. I do not have a lot of experience with the prior model years, but I can say it drives incredibly well. Not that this is a fair comparison, but I have a Mustang (ecoboost with every option) rental this week and there's no way it compares to the BRZ in terms of handling and precision. Makes me glad I made the choice to get the 2017 PP.

I ordered a WRB Limited the first week of January - was told 8 to 10 weeks for delivery which they then changed to 12 weeks

Today 5/9 the car arrived at the dealer

I ended up buying a Ice Silver PP from the same dealer on 3/1 for $400 more than I had agreed to buy the limited for

Enjoy the wait as it makes the end reward all the better and also enjoy your free time as when you get her you'll soon begin your quest to "improve" it.. which will occupy all of your free time..
I thought they make all of the Scion's then they have to weed through all of them to find the best ones. These become Subaru's BRZ's.

LOL. Go look through some of the really old threads. You will find people that actually believed that was the case.

I ordered mine in late January, and they said end of June.

I had to give up BRZ articles on the internet for Lent because the wait was killing me. I just got the email from SOA last week and they said the 13th. My dealers said the 7th.

At this rate, tomorrow I will get the car yesterday...

We agreed on the price in January. I hope it still sticks. It should since there are like a dozen cars in the area that haven't been selling.

We shall see.

Have you received any updates from SoA since last week?

SoA sent me an email last Friday saying my car was loaded on a train after they checked it in their zero-landfill plant (I guess SoA was referring to the plant in Indiana). SoA originally told me that the expected delivery date was June 7th. I just found out SoA changed the delivery date to June 9th today.

Same exact thing here. Ordered a white PP one day after you. Was initially told last week of August, but now I am being told some time in July.

Wow!! Wormholes do exist. Subaru obviously been busy investing their efforts into time travel instead of a really powerful BRzeee!! "Step into a Subaru showroom, step back in time."

Miracles Do Exist! Just arrived Thursday! Over a month earlier than the original SOA email. They sent a second email saying the date was two weeks sooner, and then my dealer called me a day or two later to say the car arrived.

(I got the call during my father-in-law's funeral, RIP).

Good luck with your car. I know the wait can kill you.
