Nope, they have not. It is not a fault with the pump and pretty much just a North American issue so I doubt they will ever do anything about it.

Just turned 70k on my car. Almost 2 years of ownership.

Tried every type of gas under the sun. It chirps whenever it wants to, no matter what.

Thats weird. When I use Esso 91, the crickets have come to town but when I actually get the chance to get Costco 91 no more chirps.

I never really understood the difference between Gas companies.

Is there really a difference between Costco 91 and Esso/Petro 91?

I have a Costco nearby, if it's better, I'll probably head there instead.

Even I will agree that I got no cricket sound when I fill from costco or shell. But if I go to Petro or Esso, it sounds like crickets having some party under the hood.

But, I have found the solution to crickets....louder exhaust!!

Maybe my exhaust is overpowering it. I've never heard any crickets. Im going to pay attention to it today. If I hear crickets, good bye Petro/Esso, hello Costco.

Costco is also cheaper but they always have crazy line ups by the time I get there.
